This fic is so tender despite the tension brewing under the surface, I've read it a few times now. <3 The calm focus Terence and Dion both have before a brewing storm paints them as strong and committed leaders -- and the easy way they shift to focus on each other once the urgency passes seems like an old song and dance between the two.
“You are still sweet,” Dion murmured, holding Terence close.
