I've read this like ten times hahaha. Dion's self-loathing can't even be stopped by Uncle Byron! I love however how Byron directs Dion to reframe the strength of dominants in another way via Clive's humanity but Dion cannot apply that logic to himself ever again; he feels less than human.
It pained him almost physically to say it out loud, again and again; but it was a pain he needed to inflict upon himself until his repentance was complete. This hurts so good. Ahhhhh. Dion. :')
Oh this was needed. Dion needed this.
