Delightfully fun read! Geez I almost would have missed this if I didn't randomly scroll down, it popped up so far below older fic updates??

Love the look of the forum, the commitment to the silly FF7 universe year system, the icons (that baby chocobo one is so creepy LOL), the user names, the post signatures!! So perfect. I really love that each person has their own way of typing, but all are so distinctly in the flavor of the aughts!

I don't know why I find it so funny that Cloud just ghosted the forum after the truth came out, poor guy. Cloud using XD made me smile so hard it's so cute. And, of course he would ask advice from a Zack community while being so obvious, haha.

Wonderful fic and such a fun one to read on Valentines! Thanks a bunch for sharing!

I have a weakness for good social media AUs, and oh my god, this is amazing. Equal parts hilarious, sweet, and pure nostalgia overload. I’m seriously impressed with how much attention to detail you put into this, and how accurately it creates an extremely specific look and mood. The icons, the forum signatures, the Silver Elite rivalry… just perfect. I haven’t played all the additional Compilation games some of these characters appear in, but Cloud’s post was instantly recognizable, and it slew me. The borked html tag was an especially nice touch.

This is a work of art. If there is ever a museum of fanfiction, this ought to be somewhere very important. I absolutely adore how well you captured early 2000s forum vibes (especially FF7 forums), the effort you went to realize them on AO3, and how in-universe and in-character this still felt. This is precious.
