Hello I am here on my hands and knees in overwhelming gratitude, I have seldom been so excited to see a fic in my notifications.
“Jecht is still not quite tame,” makes me feel giddy with how perfect a description it is for him, and the whole description of Braska makes me wanna tear my heart out and throw it against in the wall in the best way.
This is such a warm bit of respite that has a perfect undercurrent of melancholy and just so wonderfully encapsulates what made these guys jump out to me when I first played the game, it’s really knocked me out!! Thank you so much for this beautiful little snippet of them 😭💙💙💙

Ha! Amazing. That is such a perfectly Auron way of putting it – and so is the acknowledgment, immediately after, that he has changed and Zanarkand troubles him, and the awareness that Braska is always concealing worries of his own. But there are still moments when they can all be happy, and you’ve captured this one beautifully.
