Lovely! Absolutely lovely! Baralai/Gippal shiptease is always fun. I enjoy their ease and chemistry, exactly how I imagined Baralai to be like in regards to his romantic feelings.
I like the descriptive imagery you use, like the brightening sky to indicate morning; the ship landing and sailors securing ropes. Even Baralai's body language, his innocence, his confidence.
Adolescent Baralai pre-betrayal is difficult to pull off for me, but you make it look natural! And of course, your Gippal is a delight. He's self-indulgent, with an undercurrent of maturity. People portray him too blaise, leaning more towards the asshole type, but that's not how I see him. So thank you for that. :)
Nooj's clapbacks are great. And Paine just being feminine and shy is cute.
Overall, 10/10!
