gosh, this is tragic…and it’s absolutely perfect! somehow you always get the tone of every fic just right. amazing work!
your ffx fics are pretty much the only things keeping me sane these days! i don’t have the right words to thank you enough for them! you’re so extremely talented, all of your works are masterpieces and i absolutely LOVE how you bring each character (even small background characters) to life with how you flesh them out. its amazing how you’re able to not only fill in the blanks of the original game, but enhance them tenfold!
would you ever consider fleshing out the scene auron flashes back to in this particular fic? it’s so melancholy and intimate; the trio joining bodies and closing what little gaps remain between them in the desolate peaks of gagazet… ahh! whether you decide to or not, the concept you’ve introduced here will stick with me for a long time. your works always tug at the heartstrings, in all the best ways.

Aaaaaaa this is so beautiful and so incredibly sad! The numbness of the beginning and the absolute gut punch of him finally breaking...I love this.
