I really love how you've written Hilda here: formidable, but with perfect poise. And I love how she waits till Cid is almost asleep before telling him about her black magic. Such a great glimpse into their relationship!
Oh my god, she would. Hilda rules. This is completely delightful and everything I could want in a drabble about this super quirky marriage. Black mage Hilda is an alarming prospect in the best way, and of course I love her breezy (lack of) explanation and the way she's timed it so Cid can't question her. Thank you so much!
