N'aww. I like how you smoothly incorporated what was caught on the microphone and captured how they can relate to each other, when no one else can.
Awww. This was really sweet, author!anon, with just the right balance of cynicism and wariness and world-weariness from Nick to make it seem plausible. You've really pegged both their voices, too. It's a great little slice of parliamentary life.
