There’s a lot of red tape to get through.

“We’re in with a chance,” said Frodo earnestly, “look – If multiple applicants are found to meet the criteria for the fellowship, it may be jointly held by up to nine appointees.”

“Ah, but see this, Dr Frodo,” Sam replied after another careful read of the criteria; “in such cases, a maximum of four successful candidates will belong to a single institution.”

“It’ll be a networking opportunity, then,” said Frodo, and turned to the next page, Risk Assessment: Does the proposed project involve the handling of objects recognised as cursed, divinely imbued with inordinate power, or otherwise capable of causing harm to the researchers or the audience of any planned public engagement activities?
